Blue Devil girls overwhelm ‘Boro

 The Maidens hung with G-A for a quarter, trailing only 12-8, but the Blue Devils outscored ‘Boro 33-5 in the middle two periods combined to take a Mid Penn Colonial victory Monday night.

Lauren Pool had a big night for Greencastle (7-1, 6-1 MPC) by scoring 13 points and adding 11 rebounds. Sayge Wilhide totaled 13 points and Mia Libby added 10 for the Blue Devils.

Haley Noblit contributed 8 points and 7 assists, and the post tandem of Olivia Winslow and Jenna Powell combined for 4 points and 11 rebounds.

Greencastle is currently No. 7 in the District 3 Class 5A rankings.
