Greencastle broke a two-game losing skein with the help of seniors Sayge Wilhide (15 points, 5 assists), Olivia Winslow (4 points, 3 rebounds) and Jenna Powell (2 points, 5 rebounds).
The Blue Devils led 15-2 after one period, including 8 points from Lauren Pool (12 points, 6 boards), and outscored winless Boiling Springs (0-11) 25-5 in the second as Wilhide drilled four 3-point shots.
“The whole team chipped in to send our three seniors out in style,” G-A coach Mike Rhine said. “From the gym decorations to the ceremony before the game and then game itself, it was a great way to celebrate all that Sayge, Olivia, and Jenna have meant and contributed to our program. They are truly loved by their teammates and everybody worked hard to make their senior night a special night to remember.”
The Blue Devils (9-3, 8-3 MPC) made assists on 21 of their 26 buckets.
Mia Libby contributed 8 points and 7 assists, and Rylee Henson scored 5 and produced 6 assists.
