Girls rout ‘Boro

Lauren Pool put up a double-double to help the Blue Devils secure a 26-point win over the rival Maidens in a Mid Penn Colonial game Friday night on the road.

Pool led Greencastle (12-3, 10-3 MPC) with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Blue Devils outscored Waynesboro in each quarter, taking a 23-11 halftime lead and closing with a 14-2 advantage in the final period.

Mia Libby was the high scorer for G-A with 15 points, and she added 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Haley Noblit put up good numbers for points (6), rebounds (6), assists (4) and steals (5), while Sayge WIlhide had 8 points and 3 boards, and Olivia Winslow contributed 2 points and 6 rebounds.

For the Maidens (2-14), Slayton Fisher led with 5 points.
