Blue Devil girls end regular season with 5 straight wins

Greencastle-Antrim 45, South Western 26: The Blue Devils played a strong first half and cruised through the second half for a victory in their last regular season game Friday night.

G-A led 14-3 after one quarter and 27-10 by halftime, helped by a tough pressure defense, to put the non-league game away against the Mustangs.

McKenna Rakaczewski led Greencastle (15-7) with 11 points, and contributed 4 rebounds and 5 steals.

Mia Libby had 9 points and 4 rebounds, Lauren Pool scored 8 points and had 7 rebounds and Sayge Wilhide put up 6 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Blue Devils, unofficially ranked No. 13 in the District 3 Class 5A rankings, have won five games in a row.
