Blackhawk still perched at No. 1 in PennLive girls' basketball Class AAA state rankings

Lancaster Catholic, the L-L Section 4 champ and an honorable mention pick, is the No. 5 seed in the District 3-AAA bracket

Just one tiny tweak in this week’s PennLive girls’ basketball Class AAA state rankings:

Undefeated West York and 2-loss Allentown Central Catholic swapped places after ACC fell to No. 3 Bethlehem Catholic in the first Eastern Pennsylvania Conference championship game last week.

We simply couldn’t penalize the Vikettes too badly for that loss — and ACC and Becahi are on a collision course to meet again in the District 11 finale — so we dropped them just one spot and elevated West York, still unbeaten and the No. 1 seed in the District 3 tourney.

Everyone else remained the same, as several teams were idle, waiting for postseason tournaments to get started.

Here is our PennLive Class AAA top 10, plus honorable mention selections, through games of Feb. 14, with home district in parenthesis and overall record …

1. Blackhawk (7) 19-3 — previously: 1
