Introducing our PennLive Big 15 second-team all-star selections, in alphabetical order:

Gaby Blackburn, junior, Hershey — Trojans’ spunky point guard popped in 12.0 points and splashed 37 3s, and was clutch down the stretch, when Hershey won 10 games in a row heading into the district playoffs.

Hannah Brown, senior, Mechanicsburg — Great 1-2 punch with first-teamer Cecily Carl averaged 9.3 points and knocked down 46 3s, helping Wildcats win Mid-Penn Keystone crown and win a state-playoff game.

Carly Burns, senior, JuniataTri-Valley League MVP averaged 12.8 points and helped Indians go 16-0 for the second season in a row.

Ja’lynn Burton-Jones, sophomore, Middletown — Blue Raiders’ dynamic combo guard poured in 18.0 points and drilled 16 3s, helping Middletown win the Mid-Penn Capital crown.

Jen Falconer, junior, Cumberland Valley — Not a big scorer (3.0, 9 3s), but a top-shelf, hands-in-your-face defender and transition artist for the state champs.

Jenay Faulkner, freshman, Greencastle-Antrim — Hello, world. One of the most memorable breakout ninth-grade seasons in our neck of the woods in a while; Faulkner dropped 13.5 points and 38 3s, helping Blue Devils win Mid-Penn Colonial honors and go 22-3.

Shatara Parsons, senior, Central Dauphin — Tricky season for the Rams, but Parsons, a Farleigh-Dickinson recruit, was a rock in the paint, averaging 11.8 points while dominating the glass.

Meghan Rhoades, junior, Cumberland Valley — Averaged 4.8 points and did a ton of heavy lifting on the low blocks for the PIAA champs.

Megan Seibert, senior, Columbia — Crimson Tide’s sniper went out in style, averaging an L-L League-best 19.1 points and capping her career with 1,084 points.

Alex Siebecker, senior, Annville-Cleona — Finished third in the L-L League in scoring (17.2), dropped 25 3s and finished her standout A-C career with 1,123 points.

Taylor Sneidman, junior, Cumberland Valley — Chipped in 6.5 points and drilled 30 3s, and was ultra clutch as a shooter, defender and transition specialist — passing and scoring — during Eagles’ run to the state title.

Leah Springer, junior, Camp Hill — Solid season for the Lions, who pushed in the Mid-Penn Capital and won a state-playoff game, and Springer, who averaged 15.0 points and added 22 3s, was a major inside-outside weapon.

Maria Tukis, junior, Palmyra — We absolutely, positively love the way Tukis plays defense. She also chipped in with 7.3 points for a Cougars’ team that went to the state semifinals.

Madison Urich, junior, West Perry — Gave the district-champ Mustangs an excellent 1-2 scoring punch along with first-teamer Megan Smith, as Urich could beat you in transition and from the arch, averaging 12.1 points with 16 3s. Urich will begin her senior season with 974 career points.

Kaitlyn Van Tash, senior, Manheim Township — Lebanon Valley College recruit teamed with first-teamer Alex Leslie to give the L-L League-champ Blue Streaks a dynamic duo; Van Tash popped in 14.5 points and 14 3s for Manheim Township.
