No. 3 Greencastle-Antrim (22-2) vs. No. 2 Palmyra (20-4), at CD East, 5 p.m. — Hard to believe one of these two is going home; winner makes the PIAA playoffs and plays Friday in the fifth-place game for a state seed, while the loser is done. Adios. Special season for coach Mike Rhine and G-A, which won its first Mid-Penn Colonial title and burst out of the chute 21-0. Blue Devils fell to 15-time district champ Lancaster Catholic 59-52 in the quarterfinals. Coach Ron Berman and Palmyra started the tourney as the defending champs before being bounced by West Perry 42-25 in the quarters. Cougars’ ace Carly Richardson, a Bucknell recruit, is very likely out with a bum ankle. The plot: Hate to drop the pride card on you, but Palmyra, which opened last season 29-0 and won division, conference and district titles, does not want to go out this way. Not after shooting 14 percent — including 0-for-23 from 3 — against West Perry, and especially not with Richardson sitting on the pine in street clothes. Expect a determined, scrap-happy effort from the Cougars. Big moment for the Blue Devils, too. After a season of firsts, you know they’d love a trip to the big (PIAA) dance.

No. 8 West York (17-9) vs. No. 5 Berks Catholic (18-6), at Governor Mifflin Intermediate School, 6:30 p.m. — Crusher quarterfinal losses for both teams; coach Jon Shultz and West York fell at the buzzer to 1-seed Susquehannock on Ashley Stone’s 3-pointer, while coach Bob Birmingham and Berks Catholic were upended by Berks Section 2 rival Fleetwood 46-40 in their third meeting this season. And there’s a ton riding on this one; winner makes the state playoffs and will play in the fifth-place game on Friday for a PIAA seed, while the loser is done. The plot: This one’s all about gearing it back up in a win-or-go-home scenario. Whoever digs deepest, wins. Need to flip a coin to pick this winner. Anybody's game here.
