A couple of changes in this week’s PennLive girls’ basketball Class AAA state rankings.
One team slid down, one team slid out and one team slid up.
Lancaster Catholic had its 22-game winning streak snapped by Class AAAA No. 6 Manheim Township, so we bumped the Crusaders down a couple of spots.
And we flip-flopped a couple of District 11 squads because, remember, we’re all about rewarding hot teams.
So Northwestern Lehigh, fresh off a Colonial League title, has cracked the top 10 with its glittering 23-1 record, replacing Allentown Central Catholic, which fell to Class AAA No. 5 Bethlehem Catholic — which got a bump up — in the Lehigh Valley Conference title game.
Don’t be surprised if the Vikettes find themselves back in the top 10; ACC is 21-3 and is set for a District 11 run.
But for this week, Northwestern Lehigh is rewarded.

2. Scranton Prep (2) 21-1 — Won vs. Valley View in first round of District 2-AAA playoffs. Next game: Saturday vs. Honesdale/Lake-Lehman winner in District 3-AAA quarterfinals.
3. Blackhawk (7) 20-2 — Won vs. Kittanning 77-28 in first round of WPIAL-AAA playoffs. Next game: Saturday vs. Mount Pleasant in WPIAL-AAA quarterfinals.
4. Bonner-Prendergast (12) 18-5 — Idle. Next game: Thursday vs. Class AA No. 1 Neumann-Goretti in Philadelphia Catholic League semifinals.
5. Bethlehem Catholic (11) 21-3 — Idle. Next game: Saturday vs. Saucon Valley in District 11-AAA quarterfinals.
6. Villa Maria (10) 19-2 — Idle. Next game: Saturday vs. Grove City in District 10-AAA quarterfinals.
7. Hickory (10) 22-0 — Idle. Next game: Saturday vs. Conneaut in District 10-AAA quarterfinals.
8. Lancaster Catholic (3) 23-2 — Won vs. Susquenita 66-38 in first round of District 3-AAA playoffs. Next game: Saturday vs. Class AAA No. 9 Greencastle-Antrim in District 3-AAA quarterfinals.
9. Greencastle-Antrim (3) 22-1 — Won vs. Gettysburg 61-35 in first round of District 3-AAA playoffs. Next game: Saturday vs. Class AAA No. 8 Lancaster Catholic in District 3-AAA quarterfinals.
10. Northwestern Lehigh (11) 23-1 — Idle. Next game: Saturday vs. Blue Mountain in District 11-AAA quarterfinals.
