Status quo in PennLive's Class AAA girls' basketball state rankings: Archbishop Wood still No. 1

Compiling this week’s PennLive Class AAA girls’ basketball state rankings was, well, a piece of cake.

Nine of the top 10 teams had perfect weeks.

And the No. 10 team, Greencastle-Antrim, suffered its first setback this season in a Mid-Penn Conference semifinal on Tuesday night to Cumberland Valley, which was technically still No. 1 in the state in Class AAAA when the game tipped off.

The Eagles have slipped to No. 2 in this week’s rankings.

And, after kicking it around, it was awfully tough to penalize Greencastle-Antrim — a 21-1 team — for falling to the reigning PIAA-AAAA runner-up.

So the Blue Devils will stick and stay at No. 10 — a familiar top 10 from a week ago, with Archbishop Wood still holding down the top spot.

Here is PennLive’s Class AAA top 10 plus honorable mention picks, with home district in parenthesis and record through games of Tuesday, Feb. 11
